Steam Packet services to operate this evening

The Steam Packet's services will resume this evening as the strong winds abate.

Ferries due to sail this morning and this afternoon were cancelled.

However sea conditions are becoming more favourable and the company has taken the decision to operate tonight's Ben My Chree sailings, albeit at slightly later times than normal.

The Douglas to Heysham will leave at 9pm. Passengers should check in by 8pm.

The return sailing will leave Heysham at 3am tomorrow. People are asked to check in no later than 2am.

The winds will slowly ease through this evening becoming fresh or strong overnight.
