EVL says changes to plans weren't extensive

The people behind Ellan Vannin Line say claims that their plans have been refined on numerous occasions are false.

It comes after the Minister for Infrastructure said 'sustained efforts' had been made to accommodate changing plans for the new shipping company.

Earlier this week, David Cretney told the House of Keys that the company had never been denied access to Douglas Harbour.

Its chief executive says the company won't be launching a freight and separate passenger service in March - as planned.

Captain Kurt Buchholz says Mr Cretney didn't play a big part in the process:
