Guernsey learns from Manx Gaelic restoration

A delegation from Guernsey has visited the Island to seek the key to Manx Gaelic's successful revival.

The chairman of the Guernsey Language Commission, deputy Darren Duquemin was looking to improve its language service.

In the last few years, the native Manx tongue has been a success story and is seen as a pioneer by other small jurisdictions that have similar issues regarding minority languages.

Manx language development officer Adrian Caine says it reflects well on the Isle of Man:
