TT bosses defend course restrictions

Homeowners who live on the TT Course are being told that government is not trying to act as ‘Big Brother’.

Concerns have been raised on Facebook after a property owner claimed she feels she’s being persecuted for having a house on the course.

The Department of Economic Development has recently advised both homeowners and landowners as to which areas it feels should have prohibited or restricted access.

This is something that is done each year – and means if the consent is given the race organiser has responsibility if someone enters the area and becomes injured.
