GCSE public meetings conclude, consultation to follow

A fortnights worth of public meetings has paved the way for an important consultation on the impending GCSE overhaul.

With the exam system undergoing major change in England the Isle of Man is faced with a series of options of how to proceed.

Following England’s lead would see course work scrapped the removal of higher and foundation tier papers, and a change to the grading system.

As it stands Northern Ireland and Wales have rejected the reforms, a consultation will be launched on Island next week.
