Runners ready to Race The Sun

A record 290 people have entered for the Race The Sun relay this weekend.

It's an event that raises money for The Children's Centre, with teams running a lap of the Island's 98-mile Raad ny Foillan coastal footpath between sunrise and sunset.

29 teams of 10 will race anti-clockwise from 5:30am with the aim of completing the relay before sun sets at 9:22pm.
