Police appeal after Mountain road traffic collision

Wed, 28 May 2014

Police are appealing for witnesses to a two vehicle collision on the Mountain.

It happened at the Black Hut between the Ramsey Hairpin and the Bungalow - the mountain road was closed for just under two hours as emergency services attended the scene.

Police are keen to speak to the rider and pillion passenger of a black coloured motorcycle. Both the rider and passenger were dressed in black leathers.

The road is now open - with one way traffic from Ramsey Hairpin to the Creg-ny-Baa - but there's no news of any injuries at present.

The Roads Policing Unit would like anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed the collision to contact Police Headquarters on 01624 631212.
