Fines handed out to pair who tried to cross closed TT course

Two TT visitors have been fined a total of £750 for entering closed roads during the races.

The man and woman - who were 21 and 20 - appeared at Douglas Courthouse yesterday following an incident in Ballaugh during Monday's Supersport race.

Both visitors were fined £250 each with the man fined an additional £250 for provoking behaviour towards a marshal.
