Riders warned after riding on greenways

TT visitors and locals are being asked to ride responsibly when exploring the Island's greenway roads.

In the last week the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture has become aware of groups of trail riders straying from the upland tracks.

Four visiting riders have been apprehended whilst riding near to Snaefell. Another four riders were stopped from riding over heathland below the Varandah.

Wardens and police are patrolling the hills and the Mountain Road.
