The Chief Minister and Infrastructure Minister have met with the UK's Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg at the 22nd British-Irish Council summit in Guernsey last week.

The Summit was established under terms of the Good Friday peace agreement to develop positive links between member countries.

Hosted by Guernsey Chief Minister Jonathan Le Tocq, it focussed on the current economic climate and transport links.

They also met with the Irish Taoiseach Edna Kenny and the Scottish Government's Culture and External Affairs Cabinet Secretary Fiona Hyslop.

Political leaders of other sovereign governments, devolved administrations and crown dependencies were also in attendance.
