Island's landscape could cause 4G problems

The Isle of Man's landscape could have a negative effect on the efficiency of the new 4G network which is being rolled out.

Wi-Manx says there will be constraints on the service here as it typically works best on flat land - becoming less effective on hilly landscapes with woods and valleys.

Manx Telecom and Sure plan on having their 4G networks in place and fully functional before the end of the year.

Managing director Joe Hughes says there's more to a fully-functioning 4G network than the installations in progress:
