People on the Isle of Man are being reassured that the risk of contracting the deadly Ebola virus is "virtually zero".

It follows an outbreak in Africa with three countries in the west affected - Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

The virus has a fatality rate of between 50 and 90 per cent but is unlikely to reach the Island as no cases have been imported into the UK or Europe.
