Planning decision sends out wrong message says Chief

The Chief Minister has expressed his disappointment that plans for a new marine interpretation centre in Port Erin have been scrapped.

The Council of Minister's endorsed the findings of a planning inspector who rejected the application on the grounds of insufficient parking and the visual impact it would have.

Sea Breezes was set to invest millions of pounds on the prime site which has been vacant since 2006.

Allan Bell says he can't understand why more time was not granted to find a solution to the parking issue and says it's sending out the completely wrong message to private investors:
