Student aims to help parents travelling to the Island

A university student has come up with an innovative scheme to help parents visiting the Island on holiday.

Joe Murley has launched a pilot of his 'Kit 4 Kids' project to raise money for The Children's Centre - it's to help visiting families avoid excess baggage prices.

He's offering items such as cots, prams, high chairs, car seats and stair gates to save people the hassle of having to bring them across.

It's an idea that's developed due to the government's STEP programme.

Joe says it'll be interesting to see whether or not it will work:
