Help on hand for students who didn't get their grades

Fri, 22 Aug 2014

Students who perhaps didn't achieve the GCSE or A-level grades they were after are being told all is not lost.

Help is on hand for those who may now be contemplating leaving education altogether for the workplace.

The usual trend would see over half of year 11 pupils stay on for sixth form, a large percentage also opt for the Isle of Man college, this figure is expected to have dropped a little this year however, due to the prospect of more challenging A-levels.

Economic Development MLC Tony Wild says anyone needing guidance can find it at the job centre in Douglas.
