17-year old killed in incident named by police

A 17-year old male killed in a car incident on the Foxdale Road has been named.

Brad Campbell was a passenger in a white Renault Clio three-door hatchback with four other people in the early hours of yesterday morning when it crashed near to its junction with Archallagan Plantation.

He was killed instantly, whilst the driver and two other passengers were taken to Nobles Hospital for treatment; one is currently still in the Intensive Treatment Unit.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving - and is now on police bail.

Anyone who was passing the area and saw the incident is being asked to contact police headquarters on 631212.
