Manx Blind Welfare to hold guided walk event

A guided walking event is set to raise awareness of challenges faced by blind and visually impaired people.

‘Walk My Way’ takes place as part of Visual Awareness Week on Sunday 21st September from the Harris Promenade War memorial to the Empress Hotel.

People are teaming up in twos to take part and promote guided walking - which is a method used by sighted people to escort those in need of additional help.

More than 600 people in the Island suffer serious sight loss.
