Delayed start to day's racing

Today will see the final days racing for the Festival of Motorcycling 2014.

The race actions has been delayed by an hour due to the high winds meaning the roads will now shut at 10.30am.

As a consequence the parade lap will now set off at 11.15am, with the Full Factory Winnerswear Senior Manx Grand Prix getting underway at 12.30pm.

It's expected the roads will be reopened again by 3.05pm.

One man looking to cap off a brilliant week will be local rider Billy Redmayne.

He's already bagged a win and a second place finish with minimal bike time this year owing to his full time career in the parachute regiment.

Redmayne will be headed back out to Iraq once his duties are completed here, however he says the dream is to go full time with the racing:
