MHK says politicians do engage with teeangers

Young voters' interest in politics may depend on where they live.

That's the opinion of a Douglas West MHK after comments made by the Ramsey Grammar headteacher earlier this week.

David Trace said he believes politicians need to do more to engage teenagers. 

However Chris Thomas says students at Ballakermeen High School and St Ninian's have had a good amount of contact with Douglas and Onchan MHKs. 

He says he does realise some young people might feel disengaged:
