Play worker dubbed Wild Hero

The man leading the campaign to encourage children to play outdoors has been recognised for his efforts with a prestigious award.

Play worker Chris Gregory from The Children's Centre has been awarded the 'Countryfile Professional Wild Hero' accolade.

It was open to nominations from the UK and Isle of Man and follows his extensive work on the Right to Play campaign.
