Flybe not pulling out of Liverpool route

Rumours that Flybe is pulling out of the Liverpool route are unfounded.

Speculation on the internet has suggested the carrier is withdrawing its plane here and stopping "operating Liverpool flights".

Ports director Ann Reynolds says Flybe will be sub-chartering another aircraft for a few months due to a serviceability issue and unexpected crew sickness.

However she says that does not mean the end to the service.

A spokesperson for Flybe described the speculation as having "no truth" behind it.
