New boat for Sailing for the Disabled

Manx charity Sailing for the Disabled has taken ownership of its new £300,000 boat.

Members of the charity, its patron Sir Miles Walker, and invited guests will be on the harbour side to greet the Pride of Mann III and her crew in Douglas Harbour tomorrow.

Years were spent fundraising for the boat - which will cater for 200 people - including those with additional needs and the crew.
