A Douglas man will be sentenced next month after leaving two men in the UK out of pocket to the tune of £14,500.
31-year-old Sean Speers appeared at Douglas Courthouse on Friday where his case was adjourned until November 28th.
He has admitted six counts of obtaining money transfers by deception between November 2012 and October 2013.
The Douglas man operated an online bet-laying service which prosecutors say was set up as a "ruse" for his own gambling addiction - something his advocate denies.
