Police urge people to hand in weapons

Firearms and weapons can be handed into police stations in November with no repercussions. 

Police are holding an amnesty for the first time since 2005.

Anyone with a weapon has been asked to hand it into Police Headquarters, Ramsey, Castletown or Peel stations.

PC Mark Dimsdale is from the firearms unit says due to an agreement with the Acting Attorney General no-one will be prosecuted:
