Chief Minister calls for stop to further Infrastructure charges

The Chief Minister agrees with the Department of Infrastructure on the new Douglas parking charges - but says it's the last significant increase taxpayers will see for a while.

The department's announcement that parking charges will be on the up in Douglas is to help save £5 million this financial year with a range of controversial measures - receiving mixed reviews from the public.

Allan Bell says he agrees with Minister Phil Gawne's decision but is keen to ensure the public don't continue to foot the bill:
