A tremendous turnout of 35 shooters took part in the first of Ayre Clay Target Club’s winter English Sporting League at Blue Point on Sunday in near perfect conditions.
Kevin Oates and Nigel Kelly tied for the top spot, each scoring 46/50. Martin Kneen was third with 45.
Results:
A Class: 1=, Kevin Oates and Nigel Kelly 46/50; 3, Marty Kneen 45.
B Class: 1, Jack Kneen 39; 2, Nigel Moffatt 38; 3, Juan Cowley 37.
C Class: 1=, Nicholas Bambridge, Bob Wright and Ben Richards 30.
This week at Blue Point is the first 50 target Down the Line league, entries close at 10.15am.
