Thu, 04 Dec 2014

Opportunistic scam artists are back on the Island exploiting the festive season.

The Office of Fair Trading is warning of a chain mail scam that attempts to dupe the respondent into believing it's a genuine warning email.

It's also asking people to ignore a card posted through their door from the "Parcel Delivery Service".

The card highlights a phone number to call however doing so could leave you £315 out of pocket.
