Lock your doors or face ruining Christmas warn police

Police are warning the public to be vigilant and protect their property over Christmas.

Officers are continuing to investigate a number of unsolved burglaries and attempted thefts at properties which have been left insecure or unoccupied.

In the early hours of this morning police were called to Farmhill after reports of a suspicious male in the area trying the lock of a property.
