Part of Mountain Road closed due to ice

Part of the Mountain Road has been closed.

Due to ice on the road, the Department of Infrastructure has taken the decision to stop vehicles from travelling between the Hairpin and the Creg-ny-Baa.

DoI gritters are out on the roads, but police are warning the public to watch out for icy patches following two RTCs which have been reported this morning.
