Removing crib figures from display is 'shortsighted' says Bishop

Christmas figures have reportedly been removed from public display at Noble's Hospital because they've been deemed "inappropriate".

A notice states the crib figures from St Mary's Church are being moved into the chapel.

The Island's Bishop Robert Paterson says he feels very, very disappointed and has called the move shortsighted. 

In previous years the figures have been displayed in the front entrance - the Bishop says he doesn't accept that they are now causing offence:
