MHK wants public debate on promenade consultation feedback

Only behind the scenes work will take place on the Douglas promenade redevelopment between now and next autumn.

Infrastructure will spend that time working up fresh proposals, finalising designs and seeking planning approval.

A consultation and exhibition held throughout October saw over 3,000 members of the public visit the display at the Sea Terminal and have their say.

The relocation of the horse tram tracks has proved the main talking point.
