Liberal Vannin party want re-run of children's services tender

The Liberal Vannin Party is calling on government to re-run the tender process for children's services on Island.

The tender resulted in a number of contracts being taken off the Children's Centre and awarded to St Christopher's Isle of Man.

It was established that a member of the panel was a registered director of a UK charity shortlisted and interviewed for the provision of Family Services.

As we found out from Liberal Vannin spokesperson for Social Care, Maire Booth, the party feels his inclusion has tainted proceedings and it should be done again:
