Tactics for burglary investigation won't be released by police

Police say they won't confirm what they are, or aren't, doing to try and catch burglars who've gone on a crime spree on the Island.

They say specific details of their tactics will be kept under wraps - but have confirmed they will not be bringing in officers from further afield.

Since January 9th there have been over 30 burglaries across the Island - on three occasions the suspected burglars have escaped police capture.

Inspector Derek Flint says in addition they're choosing not to give details out about suspicious activity already reported:
