Take steps to avoid scammers says OFT

People on the Island need to think more carefully about protecting their personal information.

That's the message from the Office of Fair Trading which says it's working with police to tackle scammers and thieves.

Telephone scams are common on the Island - police have most recently warned of someone alleging to be calling from Microsoft Support looking to gain access to people's computers.
