Released birds unlikely to survive says owner

Two birds that were released into the wild by a trespasser over the weekend are unlikely to be seen again.

That's the opinion of owner Alan Jackson who says he doesn't think his two Goshawks can survive in the wild.

Their secluded aviary in the Greeba Curraghs was cut open at some point between 5pm on Saturday and 3.30pm on Sunday.

Police are now investigating - Alan says he can't understand why he's been targeted:
