Solving burglaries is 'priority' say police after 47 since Jan

Tue, 10 Mar 2015

Police say inquiries are still continuing into the burglary epidemic after confirming there have been 47 since the start of the year.

The bulk of those happened in January - however a second wave, over the last few weeks, is believed to be linked.

Officers say solving the crime wave is a "priority" - a further nine attempted burglaries have also been made on properties.

Although nothing has been reported since last Thursday members of the public are asked to remain vigilant.
