Plans to charge Sulby Claddagh campers put on hold

Plans to charge campers to pitch up at the Sulby Claddaghs have been put on hold.

It's after concerns were raised by some politicians about whether government has the legal right to charge people to use the land.

The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture wants to introduce a £15 fee for a permit to use the area - it's previously been free.

MLC Juan Turner says it's a grey area with the issue now adjourned for one month on the advice of Acting Attorney General John Quinn:
