Residents are spring cleaning finances says bank

New research suggests that 38 per cent of people on the Island are planning to 'spring clean' their finances.

A report compiled by Lloyds Bank surveyed 2,000 British customers - finding that more than a third have made re-organising funds a top priority this month.

On the Isle of Man 19 per cent are planning to pay off existing debts and 27 per cent are switching savings accounts - compared to 22 per cent in the UK.

It also shows that over three quarters of people have 'some disposable income'.
