Charity encourages painkiller addicts to get help

People struggling with an addiction to painkillers have been encouraged to seek help.

That's the message from the addiction charity Motiv8.

Long-term high-dosage use of pills like Ibuprofen can drastically increase the potential of heart attacks.

Over-usage can also result in anaemia, hearing loss, DNA damage and increased rates of miscarriage among women.
