Ramsey man in serious but stable condition

Police say they've had a "very positive response" to an appeal for help after a man was found injured outside Ramsey Town Hall.

The 35-year-old was discovered unconscious at around 9.20pm on Saturday with serious head injuries.

Officers say witnesses have indicated this was not a criminal act - a man they wanted to speak to in the fish and chip shop has also been identified.

The man remains in a serious but stable condition at Noble's Hospital.
