Public meeting to address Knockaloe future

Tue, 19 May 2015

The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture managed the 337-acre farm site until 2010, since then, there's been a five-year window to consider what comes next.

DEFA will host a public meeting tomorrow evening from 7.30pm at the Patrick schoolroom to give all interested parties a progress update.

As well as agriculture, the site is also historically significant; as it housed internees during World War 1.

There's been growing concern amongst the Patrick Commissioners that government would sell the farm to developers.
