Government allows dogs in pubs and restaurants

Dogs are now allowed into pubs and restaurants across the Isle of Man.

The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture has lifted a restriction on people bringing dogs into food premises.

The decision now rests at the owners' discretion.

Standards of hygiene will be heightened in accordance with the changes so that food safety isn't compromised.
