Police warn against posting online without knowing the facts

Social media users are being urged not to become embroiled in online hearsay before knowing the facts.

It follows an incident this week where the Mann Cat Sanctuary posted allegations that police had dished out an ASBO to an old age pensioner in St Johns. 
 
Accusations were also levelled at German Parish Commissioners - despite being strenuously denied by both parties the post went viral.
