Businesses backing biosphere bid

The Isle of Man deserves to achieve UNESCO status as a world biosphere region.

That's according to the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture which says it's time the Island was recognised for its efforts in promoting the use of local produce. 

It's leading the bid for the Island to become the first entire country to achieve the accreditation.

Miles Pettit is a co-owner of Noa Bakehouse he explains what it would mean for the food and drink industry:
