2016 will see fresh disability discrimination legislation

Disability discrimination will be legislated against by next year.

That's according to Douglas West MHK Chris Thomas after Tynwald decided to begin the process to present the Disability Discrimination Act 2006.

It's being introduced in advance of the long-awaited Equality Bill to protect society's most vulnerable people.
