Island shows support for Merchant Navy Day

Government has thanked people and organisations who showed support for Merchant Navy Day.

The Ship Registry provided 27 flags for government buildings - a number of private companies and buildings were also seen flying Manx ensigns on 3rd September.

A spokesperson has said it reflects the Island's strong seafaring tradition and maritime sector.
