Premier Division

Ballasalla A are up against Simcocks Blue Eagles.  They should maintain good composure and will be looking to extend their goal difference.  Simcocks will try to close them down, but early signs show this new squad haven't quite settled into a rhythm.

Hopefully, Browne Craine Toomraiders will be back to having a full squad this week, if so, they should have better control over their game against Ballasalla B.

PWC Manx Gems Rubies showed good character during last weeks game and made Simcocks Blue's work hard for their points.  This weeks game won't be as easy and they will have to conjure up a few new strategies to outwit Simcocks Red Eagles, who we expect to take full points.

Route 1 Connections are awaiting finality of last weeks result which ended short due to serious injury but should see them in the top 3.  We expect them to take full points from Missfits A but it will be interesting to see if Missfits can pick up a point, as they narrowly missed out against Ballasalla A last week.

First Division

Spaniards are playing against newcomers Castletown Pink this week and although Spaniards are high up in the table their goal tally is low.  They need to look to get more on the scoresheet if they are to beat the sharp shooters in this team.

Marbree Motors are currently sitting at the bottom of the table, but it's only been 2 games.  If they play their cards right they could earn themselves at least a point this week but Manx Glass Saints strong defence will be battling hard to prevent those attacking moves.

PWC Manx Gems Emeralds are fairly on par with Absolute Scaffolding so far and so this game could go either way.    Both teams needs to be focused from the outset as a win would leapfrog one of the teams ahead in the table.

Thompson Whites won convincingly over Marbree Motors last week but they will face stiffer competition this week against Fencibles A team.  This one is close to call as Thompson White took a higher score last week but I think Fencibles may just have the edge.

Bobby Sadler Young Farmers are going to have a real challenge on their hands this week as they play well against the experienced DQ team.  The Young Farmers have shown they are worthy of their place in the second division but we are watching them closely to see if they can hold their nerve against the stronger teams in the division.  We think they are certainly going to put up a good fight but DQ should take the win.

Second Division

Fencibles B narrowly missed out last week against their match with Ballasalla C and as such will be looking to make amends against PWC Manx Gem Sapphires.  We expect Fencibles to take a firm control of the game as Sapphires look to regroup after a low scoring match last week which saw Route 1 Reactors dominated.

The young Simcocks Green Eagles team are eager to impress this season.  They are playing bottom of the table Castletown Navy who are a new outfit and whilst they are struggling to find their feet the more they play together they should rack up more points on the scorecard.

Thompson Fuschia are taking on Missfits B this week, having defeated their C team last week.  They will be looking to build on their momentum and not let Missfits get a good control.  The statistics suggest that Missfits B will be the more dominate side but if Fuschia work as hard as they did last week they will walk away with a point for half goals.

Route 1 Reactors take on club rivals Route 1 Sparks.  Both teams are sitting firmly in the middle of the table so who's going to show their dominance this week.  It's on a flip of a coin but we think Route 1 Reactors may just have the edge.

Another club clash this weekend as Thompson Violet take on Thompson Lilac.  These teams are not as evenly match with Lilac sitting at the top of the table and so should easily take the points.

Finally Ballasalla C meet with Missfits C.  Ballasalla are showing once again that they are aiming to stay near the top of the table and Missfits will have to battle hard to come away with a point from this game.
