Tynwald to be asked to ban supply of sky lanterns

Wed, 14 Oct 2015

Proposals to ban sky lanterns will be put forward at next week's Tynwald sitting.

The decorative paper lanterns are lit and released into the air, traditionally as part of wedding ceremonies or as a gesture of remembrance.
