Money laundering charges have been dropped against two men who are awaiting sentencing for drugs offences.

Douglas man Sam Atkin and David Jenkinson, who is currently remanded at the Isle of Man Prison, will now be sentenced in November.

The two 26-year-olds have previously pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis and possession of the drug with intent to supply.

Money laundering charges - which saw the pair accused of converting criminal property into bitcoins - have now been dropped after it was ruled there was no case to answer.

Jenkinson will be sentenced on November 5th followed by Atkin on November 13th.
