Police pledge support for sex abuse victims

Police on the Isle of Man are pledging to do all they can to help victims of historical sexual abuse.

Officers say that's regardless of when in life a person has been abused.

Last week a Ramsey man was jailed for 11 years for raping and indecently assaulting a child in the early 1990s - it follows two other successful convictions of historic sexual predators.

Detective constable Emily Perkins says police can, and do, help bring justice for the victim and their families:
